In today's episode of Lest We Forget Historical, host Lillian Cauldwell delves into the atrocities all women in Afghanistan suffer at the hands of the Taliban or religion. Reports have come in that women and girls feel isolated, imprisoned, and restricted by freedom imposed by men and their laws and policies dictating how their women and girls should live.

 Afghanistan is the only country in the world where girls are banned from going to high school and effectively barred from political participation, as the Taliban has an all-male cabinet and there is no Ministry of Women’s Affairs.
